Living on Guernsey there is not the ability to purchase a WAV on island and purchasing a vehicle unseen from the UK is always a gamble. After contacting a couple of distributors by phone I ended up talking to Peter and was very impressed with his knowledge and manner. I finally settled for a Peugeot and just over 1 week later it had had an MOT, valet and was delivered free to Portsmouth docks for shipping.
The very next day it arrived in Guernsey looking as it did when new.
Having driven home I received a video from Peter demonstrating how to load the wheelchair safely..
My wife is over the moon with her new ability for us to get about and I am very pleased with the new transport.
A fantasticly pleasing transaction.

Living on Guernsey It’s always a gamble purchasing a vehicle from the UK unseen and in this case a gamble that really paid off.
My wife’s condition has deteriorated so far that she is permanently using a wheelchair so I needed to do some research to find a suitable used adapted vehicle for our needs. After phoning a couple of dealers I got in contact with “Wheelchair Cars” and was immediately impressed with Peter’s attitude along with his knowledge of cars and the cons of using Diesel on Guernsey due to the inability to heat the DBF on island to a temperature to burn off the carbon etc.
He discussed the cars available within my preferred age range and I finally settled on a Peugeot Partner 2019. Just over a week later it had had a service, MOT and been delivered to Portsmouth to be shipped arriving in Guernsey the following day.
Today I drove the car from the docks through Customs and I am over the moon with its condition and the comfort of the drive. (It is in perfect showroom condition )
Everything looks in excellent condition and I took the wheelchair to the car for a practice fitting. Peter talked me through the process over the phone and later sent a video of him demonstrating how to fit the chair and lock it safely in the vehicle.
Today for the first time my wife was in the car and she too is totally delighted with it.

Bought a Honda CR-V from Pete in August and realised there was a noise and maybe a problem with it straight away. As it was the school holidays and I was grandchild sitting, I didn’t take it back until a couple of days after the warranty had run out but Pete found out what the problem was, had Callum sort it and now it’s running perfectly. Nothing was a problem even though it was just out of warranty. I’d deal with him again any day. He really is a lovely person and have brilliant staff! This was customer service at its best and I couldn’tfind fault with anything whatsoever..

hi i bought a vauxhall mokka from wheelchair cars! ive got to say the service i received was spot on! first class! big thankyou to pete the car is fantastic! i would highly reccommend this company! p,s sorry again about the gear cover issue! i feel soooooo bad lol once again thanks from the griffiths family in wrexham north wales

Purchased a beautiful white Vauxhall Corsa for my son who has recently passed his driving test and is his first car. Saw the car on Ebay and contacted Peter who was really helpful and went out of his way to answer any questions and arrange for us to view the car, even putting himself out and coming in early on a Sunday morning as we were travelling quite a long way to see it. As soon as my son saw it he fell in love with it, and having under 20,000 miles on the clock the car was just like brand new and it had been recently cleaned to a fantastic standard both inside and out. The price was fair and Peter made the whole process of buying the car from start to finish an easy and totally stress free transaction and my soon is absolutely over the moon with the car which is faultless. Would not hesitate to recommend buying a car from here and would certainly use again in the future. Peter is genuine and trustworthy and we were told any problems not to hesitate to get in touch. Happy to say absolutely perfect car.

I had been looking for a decent 2nd hand WAV for a while but was unsure what I was really looking for/at as I’ve never had/needed one before. I took a look at a couple through private sellers but was not sure. Took one more look on Google for a dealer and found these guys.
So glad I took another look. Right from the start they were very friendly and open with everything. I took my mum (wheelchair user) along to have a look and see what was within my budget and was made to feel welcome. I was shown several vehicles in my price range and never felt rushed to make a decision.
The actual purchase procedure was made quickly and easy with full MOT being done before I collected the car. They even took my old duct-tape special as a small part exchange!
I waited 6 weeks or so to do this review so I could run the vehicle and see if there were any issues and I’m glad I did wait. The engine developed a slight rattle and, once I let them know about this, they collected the car one day, sorted the problem out and delivered it back the next. We’re not exactly round the corner from the garage so it was a nice surprise to have the collection/delivery instead of having to take it down myself.
Problem sorted, I’m more than happy with Wheelchair Cars Ltd and am very happy to recommend them to everybody.

At the beginning of the year in, the midst of the pandemic, we were looking for a wheelchair adapted vehicle to meet the needs of my less able 91 year old mother-in-law. Some desk top research quickly took us to the wheelchaircars.co.uk. The website was excellent, setting out all the information we needed in a very professional and accessible style.
I gave them a ring and spoke with Pete. From the outset he was extremely helpful, professional, giving all the information and advice required to make the decision to buy a suitable vehicle in our price range. An initial choice was indicated and Pete arranged for us to visit his garage in Manchester, so we drove over the Pennines from Sheffield to visit Wheelchair Cars.

We viewed a number of cars all very well presented, clean and sparkling. Our selection was made; a 2015 Peugeot Partner Horizon in metallic blue.

The car named by our three grandchildren ‘The Nan Van’ has been brilliant making doctors, hospital & opticians appointments and our lives a lot easier. Trips out for lunch to shopping malls in the area are now a regular part of Nan’s routine.

The five month guarantee gave us peace of mind; a problem with an exhaust pipe blowing was quickly resolved by a phone call to Pete. We took the car to our local tyre & exhaust garage, the problem was identified and after a quick phone conversation with Pete the required part was deliver to the garage, fitted and Wheelchair Cars paid the bill. Excellent service!

Thanks Pete we would not hesitate to use your services again, it was a pleasure dealing with you.

ive just purchased a VW off this company — in august 2021– the service and after service was first class, the young salesman CALUM WAS EXCELLENT– nothing was to much trouble for this young man – he explained the good and bad points on different models – in relation to our needs – there was no pressure to buy and test driving models was offered and done with no problem- the actual VW was put through a new MOT before purchase ( even though it still had over 6 months on the old one ) and as well any thoughts concerns about any point on the VW was done with the mot — and the follow up after service has been first class ————- many thanks CALUM & boss PETE –H.G. very satisfed customer
